Qualifying Vehicles

This policy covers:

Standard Vehicles - that are less than 16yrs old or which have travelled less than 250,000kms at the date the policy commences cover.

Turbo, European or Diesel Vehicles – that are less than 16yrs old or which have travelled less than 225,000kms at the date the policy commences cover.

Luxury Vehicles - that are less than 12yrs old or which have travelled less than 150,000kms at the date the policy commences cover.

The vehicle policy type and is shown on the Registration Certificate which forms a part of the policy document.

This policy covers:

Standard Vehicles - that are less than 12yrs old or which have travelled less than 150,000kms at the date the policy commences cover.

Turbo, European or Diesel Vehicles – that are less than 10yrs old or which have travelled less than 150,000kms at the date the policy commences cover.

Luxury Vehicles - that are less than  8yrs old or which have travelled less than 80,000kms at the date the policy commences cover.

The vehicle policy type and is shown on the Registration Certificate which forms a part of the policy document.

This policy covers:

Electric and Hybrid Vehicles - that are less than 16yrs old or which have travelled less than 180,000kms at the date the policy commences cover.

Luxury Vehicles - as described in the policy booklet are not covered.

The vehicle policy type and is shown on the Registration Certificate which forms a part of the policy document.

Claim Limits

Standard Vehicles – Up to $5,000 per claim

Turbo, European or Diesel Vehicles – Up to $5,000 per claim

Luxury Vehicles – Up to $5,000 per claim.

The amount of the claim limit applicable to a vehicle is shown on the Registration Certificate which forms a part of the policy document.

Standard Vehicles – Unlimited per claim

Turbo, European or Diesel Vehicles – Up to $8,000 per claim

Luxury Vehicles – Up to $8,000 per claim

Electric & Hybrid Cover-

Vehicles up to 130,000 Kms and Vehicles up to 10 years old

Claim Limit Max (per claim): 

$10,000-up to 3 years old

$7,500- 4-6 years old

$5,000- 7-8 years old

$2,500- 9-10 years old

Electric & Hybrid Extended KM & Age  Cover-

Vehicles up to 180,000 Kms Vehicles up to 16 years old

Claim Limit Max (per claim):

$2,500- up to 16 years old

Excess Options

A number of excess options may be chosen, however a minimum excess of $100 must be paid for each unrelated claim.

Emergency Breakdown Assistance

In the event of an approved claim, where your vehicle cannot be driven, Provident will arrange towing to the nearest Provident Authorised Repair Facility.

Roadside Assistance Option

If this option has been selected and the additional premium paid, you will be entitled to full NZ Roadside Assistance benefits, including towing, lost keys, out of fuel, flat tyre and flat battery assistance.
